Do you fund programs operating outside the city limits of Chicago?
No, we do not.
 
Do you fund scholarships?
We support only those scholarships created by our Founders.
 
Do you fund programs offered by individual schools?
No, we do not.
 
Do you make multi-year grants?
Yes, we do.
 
What happens if our application arrives late, past the deadline?
We hold it over for consideration at the next quarterly review.
 
How much should we ask for?
We have made grants ranging from $3,000 to $750,000. Send us your strongest, most compelling request.
 
Should we apply for general operating support or program support?
It depends on your needs.
 
We were declined, may we re-submit?
We will review individual agency requests only once per year.
 
When should we submit our progress report?
If you are re-applying for a new grant, please attach the report to your new application.
If you are not re-applying for support, please send the report within 12 months.
 
Will you review multiple program requests from a single agency?
No, we will not.
 
Do you support Capital Campaigns?
No, we do not.
